India faces tremendous knowledge gap and skill shortages amongst its 1.1 billion people, only 14% of whom go for Higher Education, as against 40-50% in developed nations. As per Dr Sam Pitroda, Chairman, national Commission, India needs 1500 Universities from present 350 Universities only.
If India is to become 4th largest economy as a developed nation by 2020, we must develop education and skill sector projects: Universities, Higher Education, Colleges and even good Schools which can attract and retain talent, not reject them!
